Common Bosch Washer Problems We Fix
E18 Error Code (Not Draining)
The drain pump filter on a Bosch front-loader collects coins, lint, and whatever fell out of your pockets. We clean the filter, test the drain pump, and check the pressure sensor. Most E18 calls end at the filter.
AquaStop Flood Protection Triggered
When AquaStop detects water in the base pan, it shuts the machine down. We find the leak source — usually an internal hose, door boot, or water inlet valve — fix it, and clear the base pan.
Door Boot Seal Leaking
Front-load Bosch washers can develop tears in the rubber door gasket over time, especially near the drain holes at the bottom of the seal. Seal replacement is a standard repair we handle regularly.
Excessive Vibration or Movement
Worn shock absorbers, a failed suspension spring, or a drum bearing beginning to fail all cause excessive vibration. We check each component and address the root cause — not just level the machine.
Won't Start or Door Won't Lock
A failed door lock interlock or control board fault prevents the cycle from launching. We test the door lock assembly and control system to identify which component failed.
Drum Not Spinning or Slow Spin
A worn drive belt, carbon brush failure (on older models), or a motor fault can prevent the drum from reaching full spin speed. We test the motor system and replace what's actually failed.
